Construction is the biggest industry in India, employing millions of people all over the country. The construction industry offers all types of work right from building bridges, tunnels, roads, schools and houses, and offices.

There are jobs available in every stage of building right from planning and designing, building, restoring, altering and maintaining them. There is a huge demand for construction labour in India and the industry recruits numerous new workers every year.

The job responsibility of construction labour will vary according to the type of construction field they are in. Generally, those in labour jobs associated with complete maintenance and scaffolding have to work with equipment. Their role includes working with hand tools and moving materials across construction sites, to the areas in which they are required.

Factory workers might find themselves helping others to finish the job and assisting with the cleaning up the factory. Frequently, if the job includes road workers, those working as labourers are responsible for setting up a traffic diversion device.

The construction industry faces challenges in hiring Factory workers and construction labour. Mostly these workers are migrants and move back home for agriculture harvest etc. There is a lot of churns and workers are in demand around the year. Still, the industry is so unorganised that there are few options available to hire them without a middleman. One popular option is online portals like Helper4U.in, LabourNet etc.
